The webinar, Promoting work as a health outcome: Guidance for AHP leaders, is intended to support AHP leaders to confidently advise, advocate and take action on the topic of work and health.
AHPs, play a crucial role in preventing worklessness and promoting return to work through holistic, person-centred approaches.
Work is a primary determinant of health, good work is protective of health, while unemployment and poor-quality jobs contribute significantly to poor health outcomes and health inequalities. Clinical leaders have a duty to bring focus to the opportunities to support people to access, remain in and return to good work as part of clinical services.
